As in the many years before, the Honorary Consulate of Turkey in Bremen invites you on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. to a festive event on the occasion of Turkey's national holiday - the venue is the upper town hall of Bremen's town hall.

Even if the mass protests in Istanbul, Ankara or Izmir are barely audible due to rigid police measures, many smaller individual actions by protest groups in Turkey show that all the measures ordered or decided from "above", sometimes arbitrary, are no longer acceptable, agrees.

On the occasion of the 5-year town twinning between Schwäbisch Hall and the Turkish town of Balikesir, the mayor of Schwäbisch Hall and a delegation of council members, citizens and those interested in the town will hold a meeting from 03.09. until September 9th, 2011 in Turkey.
