Studio asisi has added a thematic exhibition to the panorama especially for the Gasometer Pforzheim, which introduces visitors to the extraordinary world of the Brazilian rainforest before entering the panorama. The water cycle, the indigenous population and the size of the Amazon basin provide an introduction. The focus of the show is Brazil's flora and fauna - numerous insect specimens, such as transparent butterflies, gigantic beetles or wasps and tarantulas are shown in the Gasometer. A 100-fold magnification of an Asian tiger mosquito by Hamburg designer Julia Stoess illustrates the threat to the rainforest from invasive species.
The new exhibition will be on display from Saturday, December 7th. open - further information about the exhibition and the anniversary program of the Gasometer Pforzheim can be found on the Gasometer Pforzheim website.
