The CMT Stuttgart calls - this time along the coast

Although not winterly but still very Christmassy Thessalonica showed itself during our evening tour with campers from Australia, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria and New Zealand, so we enjoyed the farewell evening in the decorative illuminated city center.
And since the big day was announced the next day, everyone wanted to walk the train through the festively illuminated city center before heading in such different directions.
Some wanted to go south, ie Peloponnese and Crete, while others decided going to Turkey, then to Iran and continue to Armenia and Georgia. Incidentally, Iran currently seems to be a very popular destination for long-term camper travelers.
On the other hand, we decided to the north, up to Stuttgart to the CMT caravan and holiday fair, which this year lasts from 13.01. - 21.01.2018 and takes place at the exhibition center at the airport. Toni from Camperstop Zampetas would have loved to join (see picture below)
Our route crossing Macedonia took us to Station 10 Camping Rino on Lake Ohrid, then to Tirana to Station 9, the camper stop at Hotel Baron.
From there we went to Station 8, Camping Legjenda, where Franc and Linda proudly explained the almost completed pool and the tent hotel. Since Franc is a gifted manufacturer of Tiffany glass, we are looking forward to his further artistic work on the campsite.
Passing Montenegro and Croatia we went to Station 40, the camper stop Prince Square at Visna Gora / Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Of course you are always a bit dependent on the weather in January, but it was again, that the route along the coast is almost always free of snow and ice, only the pass between Albania and Macedonia at Hani Hotit leads up to over 1,000 meters, but mostly without snow. So we arrived well in Stuttgart and on Saturday at the fair CMT - The Holiday Fair. Visit us at the booth of Frankana, Hall 9, Booth 9C81
