As part of our project to develop gentle camper and outdoor tourism in the Balkans, the "timidity" of many travelers was shown when talks turn to why not choosing the Balkan route on their way south.

Now and then we meet with campers who are already using inflatable tents as roof tent and / or as awning which are so easy "to be built up ready to use", quickly we are in a lovely conversation, especially since we use an inflatable roof tent too, if it goes off the routes for exploring hiking or mountain biking trails within our project.

Since May 2014, we are on the roads for our cultural project "A Journey of Communication and Culture along the Roman road system" to promote local heritage combined with outdoor activities and individual tourism, a concept that has led to a variety acquaintances and meetings with campers on the road.

In Greece we had met for the first time and because there was some work to be done on their really special "Camper mobile home", the intermediate stay of Philipp and Micha extended to a few days.

Our already described hike on the Jablanica mountain range had brought us together with a team of trail markers, who wanted to re-mark the path up to the mountain lakes above Vejčani from Gorna Belica as a starting point.

The partly guided tour leads from Shkoder to Tirana, Durres and Elbasan in Albania, to Struga and Ohrid to the lake of the same name, to Stobi, Bitola in Macedonia/FYROM and Vergina, Meteora and Thessalonica in Greece.
