Part 3 - J-P - Innovative and price-sensitive CARAVAN SALON
As already announced, in the coming days and publications we want to point out important, technical and innovative innovations from the various exhibitors and suppliers during the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon, which will soon open its doors!

For better clarity, we start with the companies starting with letters A to D, then we continue with the subsequent letters. For all companies mentioned, the hall and stand numbers are also included.

Joa Camp, Hall 17/A05

The entry-level brand from the French Pilote Group is using the switch to the latest Fiat Ducato to revise all models. Five semi-integrated vehicles from the Joa series and three converted vans from the Joa Van series will receive a new interior and extended standard equipment with an awning, solar panel, radio with a 7-inch screen and rear-view camera.

Kabe, Hall 9/A35

The Swedish manufacturer Kabe is bringing another semi-integrated vehicle based on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter to the CARAVAN SALON 2024: The Novum 720C is 7.16 meters long and is more compact than the previous representatives of the series.

Karmann Mobil, Hall 15/E24

Karmann is adding the 610 model to its Davis series on the new Fiat Ducato. The central feature of the floor plan is the continuously lowerable lifting bed in the rear. This means that the storage space underneath can be used flexibly and also offers space for bulky luggage. If desired, a pop-up roof creates two additional sleeping places on the upper floor.

Knaus, Hall 1

Knaus is showing three series in the new Platinum Selection version at the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The well-equipped models are intended to attract customers primarily through their attractive package price. Four Live Ti floor plans and five Live Wave semi-integrated versions include a 27-inch TV, satellite TV system, alloy wheels, rear view camera and navigation system. The five floor plans of the converted Boxlife Platinum Selection vans include a rear view camera, navigation system, heated and insulated waste water tank and mattress topper in the price.

For caravans, Knaus is showing the further developed Sport series. Fourteen floor plans are not only lighter, but also cheaper. Customers will be pleased with both. The range of models extends from compact travel caravans to various couple and family models.

For the bathrooms of its caravans and motorhomes, Knaus offers its newly developed Cleanflex toilet. It does not require any chemicals, as the waste is sealed in plastic bags and disposed of in the garbage.

Kompanja, Hall 15/A53

The young van builder from Brühl is launching the Kompanja ZWEI, a 5.41 meter long campervan based on a Citroen Jumper. In addition to the typical Kompanja wooden look in the interior, the pull-out shower is particularly striking. A rare feature in this compact vehicle size.

Laika, Hall 6/B03

The Italian motorhome manufacturer Laika, which belongs to the Hymer Group, is bringing the Kosmo L 105 model to the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The unusual floor plan combines a rear seating group with a fold-down bed that can be lowered above it with lengthways single beds. Since the seating group can also be converted into a double bed, up to four people can sleep in the semi-integrated motorhome, which is only 5.99 meters long.

La Marca, Hall 11/C15

The Bavarian manufacturer is now also importing Chinese motorhomes. The Carbonic Liner 7.8 model from the Chinese manufacturer Deddle RV will be on display at the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The interior of the alcove mobile home shows that it was developed specifically for the European market. The vehicle also has two slide-outs that increase the living space when stationary.

The Maxus Campervan also comes from China from the state-owned manufacturer SAIC. The typical European transverse bed floor plan is said to have extensive standard equipment with a smart TV, lithium battery and slide-outs.

La Strada, Hall 15/D26 and Hall 5/A05

la strada Fahrzeugbau is showing its new Regent E at the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The Hessians have dispensed with the bench seat in the floor plan of the Regent E, creating space for single beds installed lengthways. With a total length of just 5.93 meters, the converted van on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter maneuvers nimbly through traffic. Its 3.5 tonnes permissible total weight is moved by the rear-wheel drive and 170 or 190 horsepower. The Regent E is also available as an all-wheel drive variant on request.

Le Voyageur, Hall 17/B02

The French motorhome provider is expanding its Héritage series with two 7.65-metre-long fully integrated floor plans based on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter. The 7.6 GJF has longitudinal single beds in the rear, while the 7.6 CF has a queen-size bed in the rear for the night.

LMC Caravan, Hall 6/A05

A new front wall and a new interior design are the features of the revised Sassino caravan series from LMC. Five floor plans with a new look await visitors at the CARAVAN SALON 2024.

LMC is also showing the Modo model, an activity caravan that combines a caravan and a transport trailer, together with the cargo trailer specialist Humbaur. With a total length of just 5.59 meters, the Modo offers a permissible total weight of 2.5 tons. Enough for spartan living room furniture and heavy sports equipment. All furniture elements are fixed in airline rails and can be removed. This means that the full transport volume of the box trailer can be used.

The LMC Tourer H 634 completes the range of motorhomes. The semi-integrated vehicle based on the Ford Transit has a French longitudinal double bed in the rear and a fold-down bed above the seating group in the front. The 7.06 meter long motorhome is therefore suitable for four people.

Malibu, Hall 16/A05

Mercedes Benz does not supply Sprinters with a length of 6.40 meters from the factory, but only 5.93 and 6.99 meter long versions. "Then we'll just build it ourselves," thought the engineers at Malibu, presenting the Genius 641 LE camper van at the CARAVAN SALON 2024. To do this, the Aulendorf-based company built a rear extension in GRP sandwich construction onto the 5.93 meter short Sprinter model. This creates enough space for lengthwise single beds in the rear and a storage space underneath. At the same time, there is enough space in the front vehicle for a seating area, kitchen block and a combined bathroom with a convertible shower.

Megasat, Hall 13/C60

The manufacturer of satellite technology and camping TVs is bringing three new products to Düsseldorf. The portable, fully automatic Campingman Portable 4 satellite system can be set up anywhere with a clear view of the satellite. The Connected WiFi Booster System consists of an external unit and a router in the interior that amplifies the signals to the maximum. This is intended to ensure stable mobile internet. The new Bluetooth headphones enable TV and music enjoyment without disturbing the neighbors.

Morelo, Hall 5/A07

The new Morelo Loft Premium series from the Schlüsselfeld luxury vehicle manufacturer is luxurious. Based on the Iveco Daily and the Iveco Eurocargo, Morelo builds ten floor plans that leave little to be desired. The lightest model is the Morelo Loft Premium 70 C 18, which, with a permissible total weight of less than 7.5 tons, can still be driven with a C1 driving license. All other models are heavier and require a large Class C truck driving license.

Niesmann + Bischoff, Hall 6/C03

The manufacturer of luxury vehicles from the Hymer Group has put the Arto series on a new basis for the CARAVAN SALON 2024. In the future, a Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis will work under the cladding of the two fully integrated liners. The 7.82 meter long Arto 78 already offers plenty of comfort for two to four people. The almost 9 meter long Arto 88 goes one step further with a spacious bathroom.

Outwell, Hall 3/B70

The Danish awning and camping accessories specialist is presenting its Superior Air Touring awning collection for camper vans at the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The three models feature the Drive Away Ready system, which is designed to speed up the coupling and uncoupling of the awning when driving the camper van. A high version of this docking solution also makes the awnings usable for Fiat Ducato-sized vans.

Panama Van, Hall 11/A57

The Spanish brand is bringing two compact camper vans with pop-up roofs based on the Ford Transit Custom to the CARAVAN SALON 2024. The Peak P/10+ is just under five meters long and two meters high and therefore fits in many underground car parks. The Peak P/50+ is also only two meters high, but 40 centimeters longer.

Phoenix, Hall 5/E03

Up to three people can travel in luxury in the new Phoenix Midi Liner 7000 G. At 7.25 meters long, which is compact for a liner, the Franconians have placed a single bed across the rear and a fold-down bed that can be used as a single or double bed above the driver's cab seats. In between, a spacious seating area, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a separate shower leave nothing to be desired.

The Midi-Alcove 6700 HBL is also new. The floor plan, which is also 7.25 meters long, is consistently designed for two people. Alcoves with lengthways single beds and a very spacious rear bathroom with a separate shower characterize the premium motorhome.

Pilote, Hall 17/A40

The French motorhome manufacturer Pilote is expanding its range with the P720U model on the latest Fiat Ducato. It is characterized by a large round seating group in the rear, above which a fold-down bed is lowered to serve as a place to sleep. In front of this there is a kitchenette and storage cupboards. Directly behind the driver's cab seats are the bathroom and a wardrobe. Untypically for a semi-integrated vehicle, the driver's cab can be separated from the living area with a folding pleated blind.

Pössl, Hall 12/A02

The market leader in the converted van segment is adding its first van based on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter to its portfolio. The Roadstar X model, which is almost six meters long, has all-wheel drive. The highlight is a slide-out in the rear, which extends the transverse bed to a full 2.08 meters when extended.
