It's about to start again: in seven out of ten halls at the world's largest public trade fair for tourism and leisure, everything revolves around caravanning. From motorhomes to expedition vehicles and luxury liners: Anyone interested can find different vehicles in one place.

New products, exclusive vehicles and the right destinations in one place
Discovering the world in a caravan, motorhome or roof tent is the preferred way of traveling for many people. This is exactly why the CMT will once again focus heavily on the topic of caravanning in January 2024. “The CMT is our flagship in Stuttgart, the caravanning area is the command bridge,” says Alexander Ege, Director of Trade Fairs and Events. “Seven out of ten halls alone are occupied by caravanning exhibitors. A more comprehensive offer will hardly be found anywhere else.” The CMT will open its doors to holiday and caravanning fans for nine days from January 13, 2024.
From motorhomes to expedition vehicles and luxury liners
In the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1), large and well-known traditional manufacturers present their complete portfolio of caravans and motorhomes. If you want something a little more multifunctional and unusual, the gallery in L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) is the right place. Here, exhibitors show impressive 4x4 long-distance travel and expedition vehicles. Nothing stands in the way of a journey through the desert, through the jungle or similar with the vehicles (Fotos: Landesmesse Stuttgart).
Those interested can find luxury class rolling apartments in Hall 2. There, manufacturers present vehicles that lack nothing: wine cabinet, full kitchen, spacious bathroom – and sometimes even a garage for a small car. The booming sector of panel vans, vans and campers is at home in the CERATIZIT Hall (Hall 3) and Hall 5. Here, visitors experience the entire range from small mini campers to comfortable vans. Urban campers, small recreational vehicles with a pop-up roof, which can be seen in a wide variety of brands, are particularly popular at the moment.
The right accessories for your caravanning holiday
Hall 7 is all about accessories. Numerous exhibitors offer a large selection of products for self-builders and expansion fans. From A for drive-on wedge to Z for additional headlights, everything that is offered by the competent accessories industry with on-site service and advice can be found in this hall. In the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) there is a wide range of camping and parking spaces as well as all relevant providers for the infrastructure for mobile travel. Tents, awnings and matching accessories are also presented in this hall (Fotos: Landesmesse Stuttgart).
But the topic of sustainability in caravanning is also given high priority at CMT 2024. Anyone interested can find interesting information about environmentally friendly holidays at an information area in the east entrance.
Relax and catch up in the Vans & Friends living room
After so much inspiration, every caravan fan needs a break. Comfortable seating is available in the Vans & Friends living room in the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) for personal exchanges with influencers. But the area is much more than just a place to relax: lectures by bloggers on the topics of van expansion and new work take place here. Experts also provide information about individual challenges when converting, expanding and everyday camping. Each day is dedicated to a different topic, for example on January 17th it's about traveling with your dog, and three days later it's about DIY in the van area (Fotos: Landesmesse Stuttgart).
There is also an information area on the subject of modern work in Rothauspark. Three vehicles are presented here that are designed for working on the go. Discussions with influencers also take place here.
