21st fairy tale parade and Christmas market in Bad Bibra

On December 14, 2024, the time has come again and the 21st fairy tale parade in Bad Bibra will start, which is incidentally the largest German fairy tale parade.

With over 40 fairy tale and fable pictures designed quite freely by residents, the place is transformed into a living fairy tale book and takes guests and residents on a colourful, exciting journey through the world of fairy tales.

Pied Piper of Hamelin, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood...

maerchenumzug 3In many pictures, the well-known fairy tales of childhood will come to life and will not only captivate the little visitors. Here you will find the well-known characters from fairy tale classics such as "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella", the "Pied Piper of Hamelin", "Sleeping Beauty" and "Little Red Riding Hood". Many families, clubs, schools and kindergartens have been preparing their fairy tale pictures with loving detail for a long time.

At 3 p.m. sharp, Germany's largest fairytale parade will pass through the Christmassy Finnish town of Bad Bibra.

The parade begins on Thalwinkeler Strasse, crosses the roundabout on Steinbacher Strasse and ends directly at the entrance to the Bürgergarten, where the Christmas market is taking place and invites you to stroll and linger.
