Turkish – German Friendship Day, which has become a tradition already, will be organized under auspices of the German Consulate General in the yard of Izmir City Archive (Ahmet Piriştina City Archive and Museum, APICAM), in Izmir – Çankaya on 21st September, 2014 between 14:00 – 20:00.

We went to the Kitzingen City Exhibition Hall to visit the exhibition of World Press Photo Contest 13, which was organized by the World Press Photo Foundation. The foundation has arranged travelling exhibitions in the different parts of the world and more than a hundred cities that NewYork, Moscow, Rome and Tokio are some of them and I am pleased to see the exhibited works in Kitzingen.

Due to a violent storm and high waves next to the port of Antalya / Kaleici the crew of the Bolivian vessel “Sea Bright” lost the control about the ship which then crashed into the cliffs next to the shore. Because of the storm the crew needed to leave the ship by the help of ropes.
